This past year, we hosted a holiday carry-out dinner served to hundreds of guests from inside St. Bart’s Church. We thank everyone who contributed and volunteered to make it a great success. Please watch the video to learn more about Crossroads Community Services.
Fare Share Friday 2020
In 2020, we hosted a virtual event for our volunteers and supporters. Concurrently, we served a carry-out holiday meal to our guests consisting of turkey, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, an assortment of desserts, and coffee or hot cocoa. Our guests loved it and everyone stayed safe. Each guest also received a gift bag as well.
Thank you to everyone who joined and donated! Despite the challenges the pandemic wrought, we were able to feed over 300 guests a warm, holiday meal. We also raised over $100,000 to support our programs throughout the year!
Fare Share Friday 2014-2019
From 2014-2019, Crossroads welcomed guests, volunteers, donors, and supporters to enjoy a sumptuous banquet together at St. Bart’s Church, provided by some of New York's most famous chefs. When we passed the turkey and all the fixings, we broke down the artificial walls that separate people from different walks of life. And we raised tens of thousands of dollars each year in support of our Crossroads mission.
That special night set the tone for a festive holiday season and year-end celebration. As one guest put it, "Tonight, I'm not homeless.”
